Consumers looking to reduce their credit card debt are set to find it a much tougher task as the leading providers continue to withdraw their 0% balance transfer offers.
Natwest, the Royal Bank of Scotland and Capital One have all scrapped their zero interest schemes, meaning consumers with large debts face the prospect of high monthly repayments.
Other providers such as Abbey, Halifax, Sainsbury's Finance and Sky have significantly reduced the time periods they offer with their 0% balance trasnfer deals.
