Young people in the UK are increasingly at risk of declaring personal bankruptcy if they do not keep on top of debts.
As this graduating students leave university with an average of over £13,000 this summer, many cannot afford to get onto the property ladder.
Those who choose not to attend university in order to gain employment to save for their first homes have been found to be making huge personal sacrifices. As many as 20 per cent of young people have taken on jobs or careers which are well paid rather than working in a field that they enjoy.
