Energy experts are advising consumers that they can reduce debt by ensuring their home is well insulated.
The National Insulation Association believe consumers can shave £275 off their annual energy bills, which makes the invest great value over time.
Neil Marshall from the group commented, "With measures such as cavity, solid wall, loft insulation or draught proofing, the result will be lower fuel bills and a warmer home."
