Which? have told consumers looking to reduce debt that they can save money on their energy bills by investing in a smaller television.
The group found that a 19-23 inch LCD television uses around 40 to 50 watts when turned on and costs around £11 a year to run.
A 40inch LCD consumes 4 times more power and as a consquence costs 4 times more to run.
