A report in the Guardian newspaper has advised students struggling with debt problems to prioritise which arrears should be paid off first.
With debt an almost certainty for the majortiy of students, Harriet Swain from the paper said that paying off the most costly debts first can save consumers a great deal of money.
Further advice included contacting creditors to work out managable repayments plans.
