Students should turn to parents for advice

As the Credit Crunch makes financial life even more difficult for students living away from home, experts agree that young people should turn to their parents for debt help advice.

Older consumers who lived through the difficult financial conditions in the UK in the 70s and 80s are more experienced at dealing with a struggling economy, according to one expert. 

Added to that, research from Lloyds TSB recently found that elderly people are enjoying a far better quality of life than the younger generation.
